Happy New Year!! I am happy to say that I landed back in France just in time for New Years Eve! I slept off a little bit of my jet lag, and got ready to celebrate! Since we have celebrated in Paris before, my fiance and I decided to have a quiet celebration this year in our little town of Rambouillet. Once he arrived home from work, we planned to go out to our little grocery store and get some special New Years Eve treats to enjoy. As we had both been away for the holida
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from sunny Florida! For the first year ever, I headed south and spent the holidays at the beach! I am usually in cold Canada or rainy Europe, so this has been a much different Christmas. I went to the beach on Boxing day and found a 6 foot decorated Christmas tree standing in the sand! This weekend my boyfriend and I boarded a Eurostar in Paris and headed to England for my cousins wedding. We finally reached our destination after a 6 hour train ride which included 4 of those hours being stuck on a broken down train in Calais….but that is a whole other story! Usually the trip takes about an hour and a half.
Anyway, since this was the first time for my parents and other relatives to meet my boyfriend he wanted to bring them a little taste of Paris as a gift.
