Alexis Mabielle Holiday Windows!

I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays!  I left Paris and traveled back home to Canada for my holidays.  However, I was still in France long enough to enjoy some of the European Christmas traditions.  I strolled around the Christmas market along the Champs Elysees and enjoyed the city coming to life with the lights strung across many of the streets.  The Christmas market along the Champs Elysees is one of my favorite things to do around the holidays.  The market stretches along the bottom of the Avenue and there are over 160 chalets that have vendors selling everything from chocolate to handmade cards.   There are Christmas songs playing though the street and the smell of mulled wine and crepes with Nutella.  How could someone not love the Champs Elysees market!?

I also stopped by the BHV department store to do some Christmas shopping and took some time to enjoy the Christmas window displays.  This year, they featured Alexis Mabille Couture gowns and Repetto shoes.  The windows also showed heads created by Marie Beltrami.

Overall, I had a wonderful Christmas filled with French and Canadian delights!  How were your holidays and what did you do?
