Florida Holidays
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from sunny Florida! For the first year ever, I headed south and spent the holidays at the beach! I am usually in cold Canada or rainy Europe, so this has been a much different Christmas. I went to the beach on Boxing day and found a 6 foot decorated Christmas tree standing in the sand! I suppose someone had a Christmas party on the beach the previous day.

Florida is one of my favorite places to vacation in the sun, and I love strolling along the shops in Venice. Today I stumbled across a new boutique that opened called Posh. A magical window display caught my attention full of French themed shabby chic Christmas pieces. After purchasing a beautiful heart ornament, I leaned this was the second Posh shop, with the original one in downtown Sarasota. So, if you are in the area and love French and Paris themed decorations be sure to stop into Posh! Check out their blog at http://poshonpalm.blogspot.com

Also on my travels, I came across another shop in Venice called The French Linen Chest. Walking in I was greeted by one of the owners who was extremely warm and welcoming. We exchanged stories of Paris and she showed me her line of table linens that she imports from France and Spain. You can see more of her table linens on her website at www.thefrenchlinenchest.com

I will be leaving Florida and flying back to Paris this Sunday, so tomorrow I will be walking along the beach and lounging by the pool to enjoy my last day of sunshine. Although I am sad to be leaving the warm weather, I am looking forward to all sorts of exciting things in Paris coming up such as Paris Couture Week! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
