From my bridal collection with a Parisian flair! A beautiful sparkling silver headband featuring Haute Couture embroidery, perfect for your wedding day, bridesmaids, prom, holiday etc. Each bead, crystal and pearl is hand sewn onto vintage Parisian silk using a traditional French embroidery technique, Luneville embroidery. The embroidery is backed with leather and attached to a beautiful white ribbon. This headband comes with satin ribbons on each end for easy tying (42" long x 16mm wide; beaded portion is approximately 4" x 2" long).

Having lived in Paris, France for over 5 years I was certified in Haute Couture beadwork and embroidery in one of Chanel's exclusive atelier houses. I have now brought these techniques to the US and created my own line to include the tradition of Haute Couture.

Each piece is hand embroidered using the Luneville embroidery technique I was taught at Lesage. Couture embroidery is seen all over the Parisian runways and I have translated what are usually seen on designs for Chanel, and Dior and created beautiful wearable jewelry and accessories.

Each sequin and bead is sewn on one at a time using a "Luneville" hook which is similar to a very tiny crochet hook. Silk organza is stretched across an embroidery frame, and the beads are stitched on from the underside of the fabric, one stitch at a time. This is truly a One of a Kind piece of collectible Haute Couture.

This piece was made by hand in my studio and comes beautifully packaged and ready for gift giving.
