Couture Embroidery from Paris, France! This one of a kind necklace is hand embroidered, with sparkling Swarovski crystals, labradorite stones, sequins, and glass beads. Hand-sewn, this necklace is backed with leather and hangs from a chunky silver plated chain. This necklace measures approx. 18" in length and the embroidery hangs off the chain measuring approx. 5" x 5".

After completing an apprenticeship in Paris, France and earning a certificate in Professional Couture Embroidery and Beadwork at Lesage (an atelier owned by Chanel), I have created this line of couture necklaces. Each piece is hand embroidered using the Luneville technique I was taught at Lesage. Couture embroidery is seen all over the Parisian runways and I have translated what is usually seen on designs for Chanel, and Dior and created beautiful wearable jewelry.

Each sequin and bead is sewn on one at a time using a "Luneville" hook which is similar to a very tiny crochet hook. Silk organza is stretched across an embroidery frame, and the beads are stitched on from the underside of the fabric, one stitch at a time. This is truly a One of a Kind piece of collectible Haute Couture.

The stone featured in the is necklace is labradorite. The Inuit people say that Labradorite fell from the frozen fire of the Aurora Borealis. This ordinary stone transformed into an extraordinary, bright mystical light and then became solid. Labradorite is a gemstone of magic. It helps those seeking knowledge and guidance to find answers. It is excellent for awakening your life’s purpose, intuition, and psychic abilities.
